David Fowler

Dave is currently enjoying a certain degree of retirement after spending 34 years in the teaching profession. He taught in the fourth and fifth grades for most of his career and finished his last 10 teaching sixth grade science and language arts. He holds a B.S. in Elementary Education and a M.S. in Curriculum, Supervision and Instruction. Dave worked with Chuck Graeb, Founder of Bikes For Kids, for several years and at Chuck's passing in 2009, was asked by his family to attempt to carry on with the organization. As a result, Bikes For Kids has grown into the respected non-profit organization that it is today.

In his spare time, Dave enjoys biking and travel as well as training his dog, Tucker, to track missing people in the woods. He was also quite accomplished at water polo until the day when his horse drowned in the pool.
